This coming Monday, on April 17, the enrollment for the Doctoral School at Gdańsk University of Technology, run jointly with two institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Gdańsk - Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery and Institute of Hydro-Engineering, will start. Candidates can apply for the program in Gdańsk Tech application system until Monday, May 8, at 11 a.m. CEST (UTC+2).

The school offers free doctoral training in English in 14 disciplines. Each PhD student will receive a doctoral scholarship. They also have the opportunity to participate in a number of projects and take advantage of an additional scholarship offer from the Excellence Initiative - Research University (IDUB) Program. We also intend to apply to Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) under the new edition of the programme: STER - Internationalisation of Doctoral Schools.

A total of 107 vacancies are available for candidates. Each applicant is obliged to pay an application fee of PLN 300. Before registering in the system, the candidate has to find and contact a prospective supervisor in the discipline in which he/she intends to undertake doctoral studies.

On April 20-21, Gdańsk Tech Language Centre will host the on-site ACERT exam in English at B2 level for pre-registered candidates for our school, who don’t have the language certificate recognized by the school. The information meeting for all candidates interested in our offer was held on April 3.

Detailed information about the admission process can be found on the school's website in the tab candidates and in the news section. You can also download our admission leaflet and watch a promotional video of the school. Our offer has also been published on foreign portal promoting doctoral education: Find a PhD.
