The offfice is responsible for the planning, organization and evaluation of teaching, for the records of students and graduates as well as for conducting the admission process of applicants for studies.
The overal range of tasks includes:
- keeping a central register of GUT students and graduates,
- preparing statistical reports on the university teaching activities for the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Central Statistics Office,
- cooperation with departments and units supporting training in teaching,
- recording and auditing reports on teaching, keeping records of staff holiday leave and of plans for auditing academics through classroom observations,
- keeping records of types and kinds of studies, collecting educational programs and study curricula, including study plans,
- coordination of the MOSTECH mobility system for students of technical universities,
- keeping records and providing information on post-graduate studies and training courses,
- administrative service for: the Senate Committee for Education, the disciplinary spokesman for undergraduate and doctoral students, the Disciplinary Committee for Students and Doctoral Students, the Appeal and Disciplinary Committee for Students and Doctoral Students,
- administrative handling of the service point of Electronic Student ID Card (ELS),
- coordinating the admission process of applicants for studies and taking part in the work of the University Recruitment Committee,
- presentation of the GUT educational offer at Education Fairs and collaboration with higher secondary schools.
