Ex libris for the 120th year of the Gdańsk Tech University

On the occasion of the 120^th anniversary of the existence of the Gdańsk University of Technology, a commemorative ex libris has been created. The artistic depiction of the main University building highlights the distinctive architectural details that identify it within the city space. This unique ex libris will be placed on books purchased and received as gifts by the Library of the Gdańsk University of Technology during the anniversary year, giving them a unique character. It is a symbolic gesture, emphasizing the importance of the library for science and commemorating a significant milestone in the university's history.

Erasmus Staff Training Week at Gdańsk Tech Library

We are pleased to invite librarians from "Erasmus+ Program Countries" and "Erasmus Partner Countries" to join our International Erasmus Staff Training Week at the Gdańsk Tech Library. This year this is going to be a special edition due to the fact that we are celebrating the 120^th anniversary of the Gdańsk University of Technology. Exhibition "Osiągnięcia Politechniki Gdańskiej"

The opening of the exhibition will take place on December 4, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. in the lobby in front of the Library in the Main Building.

Framed within the historical period of 1904-2024, the exhibition will showcase the beginnings of our University, its current position in the world of science, and the history, role, tasks, and achievements of selected units of Gdańsk University of Technology. This event concludes the Jubilee Year celebrations.
