The Section collaborates closely with the Gdańsk Tech University staff. Academic staff and Gdańsk Tech students may use the relevant online form to request the purchase of books and resources for Gdańsk Tech Library collections.

The Section also exchanges books and periodicals with other national and international universities and academic institutions.
Cataloguing:
- organizing the collections so that the users can use library resources effectively
- cataloging library resources
- providing bibliographic information in the online catalogue about resources found in the library so that users can easily find what they need
Gdańsk Tech Library cataloging team offers methodological support and consultations for other librarians from the Tricity libraries.
