What is the funding amount for the trip?
The funding for the trip consists of the following elements:
1. Scholarship (daily rates; same rates for all countries)
- Student: PLN 75
- PhD student: PLN 125
- Staff member: PLN 125
- Staff member with a PhD: PLN 250
2. Funding for living and accommodation costs
- From PLN 300 to PLN 700 per day, depending on the country.
3. Funding for travel costs
- From PLN 1,500 to PLN 6,500, depending on the country (round-trip rates).
Detailed rates by country can be found in the DOCUMENTS tab.
Additionally, there is an option to cover the registration fee for a conference, training, etc. The scholarship, living and accommodation costs, and travel funding are paid as lump sums – no need to provide receipts, tickets, etc. The funds for covering conference fees, etc., are reimbursed based on actual costs – these must be reported with receipts.
Example calculation:
Staff member: 7-day trip to Italy (2 days of travel and 5 days of teaching)
7 days x PLN 125 (scholarship) + 7 days x PLN 400 (living and accommodation) + PLN 2,000 (travel) = PLN 5,675.00
PhD student: 7-day trip to the USA (2 days of travel and 5 days at a conference)
7 days x PLN 125 (scholarship) + 7 days x PLN 700 (living and accommodation) + PLN 6,500 (travel) = PLN 12,275.00
Student: 5-day trip to Norway (2 days of travel and 3 days at a winter school)
5 days x PLN 75 (scholarship) + 5 days x PLN 500 (living and accommodation) + PLN 2,000 (travel) = PLN 4,875.00
