Accomodation

Gdansk University of Technology offers its students, including international students, almost 3000 beds in 12 dormitories.

International students admitted to the first year of first-cycle and second-cycle studies get a place in one of the student residences by default (they do not have to apply for a place in a dormitory on their own).

Students starting their studies in the winter term (from October) are entitled to a room in a dormitory until the end of the academic year; students starting their studies in the summer term (from February/March) are entitled to a room in a dormitory until the end of the term. From the second year of studies onwards, foreign students who wish to live in the dormitory in the following years must apply for a place in a dormitory on the same terms as Polish students (matters of accommodation in a dormitory are dealt with by the Student Affairs Office).

Students who are entitled to a place in a dormitory but do not wish to use it should notify the International Relations Office at the enrolment stage.
