We invite you to the webinar "Cooperation of Pomeranian Universities for the Development of Innovation," in which the rectors of the three largest universities in Pomerania, together with the presidents of university spin-off companies, representatives of the regional government, and entrepreneurs, will discuss new opportunities for researchers to establish cooperation with business and industry.

The webinar concerns the "μGrants R&D for Enterprises" program (more about the program at: mikrogranty.com.pl), the operator of which is Excento, a special-purpose company of Gdańsk Tech, which daily focuses on building relationships and formalizing cooperation between science and business.

The meeting includes, among others, the rectors of three leading universities in the region: Prof. Krzysztof Wilde (Gdańsk Tech), Prof. Michał Markuszewski, Vice-Rector for Science (Medical University of Gdańsk) and Prof. Piotr Stepnowski (University of Gdańsk), as well as presidents of university special-purpose companies connecting scientists with industry and business and representatives of the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Pomerania and the Marshal's Office of the Pomeranian Voivodeship.

During the meeting, guests will examine the main objectives and present the benefits of participating in the "μGrants R&D for Enterprises" project. They will discuss in detail the areas of engagement intended for employees and research teams. They will also present the economic specializations that will be particularly supported within the program.

The webinar will also include questions about the role universities play in the development of local business and the socio-economic environment. Guests will also discuss best practices of such cooperation using examples of commercialization of scientific research results. The meeting will also be an opportunity to talk about future actions of the universities associated in the Daniel Fahrenheit Association of Universities in Gdańsk regarding support for innovation.
