Gdańsk University of Technology among the most frequently chosen universities by candidates for studies
Thus, Gdańsk University of Technology:
- overtook all technical universities in terms of the number of applications from candidates for full-time studies
- found itself next to the two largest universities in the country.
This time, the ministerial ranking did not take into account the position of the university in terms of the number of candidates per place. According to this criterion, Gdańsk Tech took first place among public universities in Poland last year. On average, 7 people applied for one place in first-cycle studies at Gdańsk Tech for the academic year 2024/2025. However, it should be noted that the methods of conducting the recruitment process at universities differ.
– We are very happy that future engineers choose Gdańsk University of Technology. Third place among all universities and first among technical universities most often chosen by candidates for studies is a huge commitment for us, but also a confirmation of the high standards of education at our university. We are constantly developing the educational offer so that it is attractive for young people who want to deepen their knowledge, acquire new skills, but also develop their own passions, and at the same time we respond to market needs in this area. We place great emphasis on new solutions supporting this process, such as didactic innovations – says Prof. Krzysztof Wilde, Rector of Gdańsk University of Technology.
