We invite students to join the ENHANCE Winter School focused on the collective and adaptive reuse of existing buildings to create affordable student housing.

The programme (3 + 1 ECTS) combines design, hands-on prototyping and work on governance and self-organisation models within the broader project “Reuse for Affordable Student Housing”.

Participants will engage with a real case — the partially vacant Mathematics Building at TU Berlin — exploring how it can be transformed through minimal interventions and commons-based approaches. The Winter School introduces key debates on the student housing crisis, adaptive reuse, urban commons and real-lab methodologies.
