ABOUT US:

Patent Information Centre located at Gdansk University of Technology (PATLIB Gdansk) provides access to patent information - information about intellectual property (IP) rights, especially industrial property.

Over 80% of technological information published worldwide is available in patent literature.

PATLIB Gdansk cooperates with the Polish Patent Office and belongs to the European network of PATLIB patent information centres under the patronage of the European Patent Office.

PATLIB Gdansk has access to non-commercial and commercial patent databases and offers other patent information services. These can include:

✔searching in patent databases (state of the art analyses, patentability analyses, patent landscaping, legal status of IP rights),

✔monitoring of IP rights,

✔patent statistics in the field of IP rights (providing information on: trends in technology, technology and competitor watches),

✔providing training in the field of patent information and patent databases,

✔patent valuation/audits,

✔advice on patent strategy.
