The energy sector is evolving rapidly and demands experts in modern solutions.
Cooperation in the energy sector extends beyond regional and international agreements to include technological development—particularly in areas such as nuclear energy. Among the key issues are joint educational programs for specialists and research & implementation projects carried out as part of alliances between academia and industry. A prime example of such collaboration is the partnership between Gdańsk University of Technology and ECB S.A. in the field of SMR (Small Modular Reactor) technology.
On September 9–10, 2025, a meeting was held at the ECB S.A. headquarters to discuss potential grant applications and the scope of joint development projects in the area of nuclear energy—a critical pillar of Poland’s energy security.
