Announcement of the Chancellor of the University from 25.04.2017 regarding changes in the organization of entry and parking at Gdańsk University of Technology
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Due to the necessity to limit car traffic in the vicinity of the historic part of the campus and the increased number of reported parking irregularities, in order to improve safety and optimize the use of existing parking spaces, after May 1, 2017, there will be changes in the rules for entering the Gdańsk University of Technology campus.
The following activities are planned:
1. From May 2 this year the passenger service for the entry from Do Studzienki street ceases to function (entry only for drivers with valid long-range cards).
2. From May 2 this year the passenger service of the car park at Fiszera street: Mon - Sat in hours 7: 00-17: 00.
In the case of events taking place at different times or days, after providing information to the Property Protection Office, the service hours will be adjusted to the duration of the event.
3. From May 15 this year entry for guests and people without entry cards (excluding deliveries) will be possible only to the parking at Fiszera Street.
Please inform your guests about the new rules for entering and using parking spaces.
Drivers using the option to enter the premises of the Gdańsk University of Technology are obliged to observe the traffic regulations, to exercise particular caution and use only designated parking spaces.
New regulation of the rules of entry and parking is being prepared, which provides for sanctions for non-compliance with the regulations, including withdrawal of the right to enter the campus - in the event of repeated or gross violations of the regulations.
