Pursuant to Art. 13 sec. 1 and 2 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of personal data of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of their personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC , Journal of Laws UE L 119 of 4.5.2016 (hereinafter: GDPR), I inform you that:

3. Video surveillance covers the facilities, areas and areas of the Gdańsk University of Technology:

  1. campus grounds and facilities located between Narutowicza, Traugutta, Bracka, Fiszera and Do Studzienki Streets

  2. The areas and facilities located at 12, 25 and 27 Zwycięstwa Avenues, 5 and 7 Sobieskiego Streets, 18A Own Strzecha and 79 and 97 Traugutta Streets.

  3. Student housing estates, areas and dormitories of the Gdańsk University of Technology at Wyspiańskiego, Leczkowa, Do Studzienki, Traugutta and Chodkiewicza Streets.

4.The area covered by video surveillance is understood as:

  1. Access gates, on-campus roads and internal areas, parking lots and the surrounding of buildings and properties.

  2. The area around and the area of ​​the Student Housing Estates (communication routes, recreational areas, pavements and parking lots).

  3. Entry / exit from campus buildings and dormitories, corridors, staircases, public room, technical facilities and designated security areas.

5.All data recorded by video surveillance cameras are saved and available for a maximum period of 3 months. The storage time depends on the number of events and the recorder's disk capacity. When the disk space runs out, the data is automatically overwritten. Only the image (without sound) is recorded and saved on the medium.

6.For evidentiary purposes, Gdańsk University of Technology secures events recorded by the video monitoring system, which, among other things, threaten security and public order, damage and theft of property.

7.Each time the events recorded by video surveillance are secured on a written request submitted to the Data Administrator. Secured video surveillance data are made available only to authorities conducting proceedings in the case of a recorded event, e.g. the police, prosecutor's office, courts, which operate on the basis of separate provisions.

8.Your personal data will be processed in order to ensure safety and public order and to protect persons and property pursuant to art. 6 sec. 1 lit. f of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (GDPR) and pursuant to art. .22² § 1 of the Act of June 26, 1974 - Labor Code.

9.Your personal data may be made available only to authorities authorized to receive them under the provisions of applicable law.

10.Your personal data will not be transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area, which are the countries of the European Union and Iceland, Norway and Lichtenstein.

11.Automated decisions (decisions without significant human participation) will not be made in relation to your person, including your personal data will not be subject to profiling.

12.You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory body - the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, if the processing of your personal data violates the provisions on the protection of personal data.
