Evol - manage your business with an app on your smartphone.

The basis of our ecosystem is a mobile application that allows you to accept card payments using the NFC module and maintain a database of goods or services (adding/deleting/editing prices, names, quantities, etc.). In addition, Evol provides an analysis of sales of individual goods or groups of goods, and gives the ability to manage the account that will hold the money from sales. Based on the analysis of sales of individual businesses, we will be able to set a revolving limit on individual terms for each business. With further development, functions will be added to the application, allowing to sell goods from the database on the Internet.

About the team

At this moment we are a team of two students of Computer Science and Automation. We are united by our interest in information technology, entrepreneurship and management. We take an active part in development bootcamps, training courses and business events, both from the participation and organization side. Some of the projects that a person from our team has had the opportunity to organize are the European Financial Congress in Sopot, the Engineering Job Fair, the Hackathon (as part of BCM) at Gdańsk Tech, and other projects, organized as part of the activities of the BEST Gdansk student organization, SSPG and the WRS ZiE and Arch at Gdańsk Tech.

Expectations and needs of the team

At this point, we are looking for a mentor from the banking, payments or fintech industry to advise us on how to implement our project from a legal and technological point of view.

Our next step is to find the companies that will be our potential customers and present our PoC to them. Based on the collected data, we will know the current needs of the market and what we need to change in our application to match the needs of users. Once the PoC is refined, we will establish relationships with investors in order to obtain seed investments for the creation of the MVP.
