Information about the team
We are a team consisting of students of Computer Science at Gdansk University of Technology. We love to make our lives easier, and if we can help others in the process, like Rentimi, we are only more motivated to do so. However, we are not just students. We have passions and dreams that allow us to look at people's problems from different perspectives, which translates into a huge number of new ideas. Taking part in Startup School, will be an interesting experience for us and another brick in building better versions of ourselves.
Expectations and needs of the team
The main problem at the beginning of the development of our application will be to gather a large enough group of landlords and tenants willing to use our solution. We will need support in terms of promoting our solution and methods of encouraging customers to use Rentimi. We are keen to establish cooperation with a bank that would undertake to hold the deposit for a fixed period. An important aspect will be a long-term cooperation with a company that offers cameras for creating 3D walkthroughs. We are young people and do not have contacts in the business world. We would like to get support in terms of seeking help and gaining cooperating companies.
In addition, we need support on legal issues regarding the storage of bail bonds and the security of sensitive data. In addition, we are wondering how much we can "unveil", at this stage of development, to the real estate rental market - this mainly concerns the issue of conducting a survey on Facebook pages regarding interest in the remote rental initiative based on a 3D walk.
