Eco-envelopes at Gdańsk University of Technology - already a year of ecological correspondence | Gdańsk University of Technology

This environmentally friendly solution allows us to reduce the use of disposable envelopes and limit the production of waste - each copy of the Eco-Envelope can be used up to 12 times. All you have to do is cross out the previous sender, fill in the new data and pass the envelope on.

The initiative came about as a result of the Eco Gdańsk Tech Workshop, which aims to engage the academic community in finding solutions to support the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The Eco-Envelopes fit perfectly with our environmental and social responsibility activities and bring real benefits in terms of waste reduction. The initiative is part of Gdańsk University of Technology's wider strategy to meet the UN Sustainable Development Goals and promote responsible, environmentally friendly actions at the university.

After a year of using Eco-Envelopes, we can see how effectively it supports the daily organisation of work at the university and helps to develop environmentally friendly habits. We want to continue to inspire our university community to act in an environmentally friendly way and continue our efforts towards sustainable development.
