Następnie, Prof. Sharafat Ali z Department of Built Environment and Energy Technology Linnaeus University w Szwecji wygłosi wykład pt. "Insights into oxynitride glasses: Properties and related challenges"

Abstrakty wystąpień:

Electrochemical methods for fabrication of nanostructured materials
The aim of the presentation is to give a brief overview of the application of electrochemical methods (both anodic oxidation and cathodic reduction) for the fabrication of nanostructured materials such as nanoporous Al2O3, nanostructured semiconducting oxides (SnOx, ZnO, Cu2O, WO3, Fe2O3), metallic nanowires, nanotubes, and others. A special emphasis will be put on the possibility of tuning the materials morphology, composition and properties by simple adjusting electrosynthesis conditions and by applying a suitable post-treatment procedures. Examples of applications of electrochemically synthesized nanomaterials in various fields including, among others, energy conversion and storage, will be also discussed.

Insights into oxynitride glasses: Properties and related challenges
The growing demand for high-performance materials in fields such as displays, mobiles, energy systems, and electronics has sparked increased interest in oxynitride glasses, which offer a unique combination of thermal, mechanical, chemical, and optical properties. Oxynitride glasses are high-performance materials that fundamentally differ from pure oxide and nitride glasses due to the simultaneous presence of two anions (oxygen and nitrogen). This presentation will provide an overview of oxynitride glasses, focusing on their preparation using various techniques, the variation in properties with nitrogen and modifier cation content, challenges in developing fully transparent glasses, and potential applications of these high-performance materials.
