1st prize in the competition for the best engineering project and thesis in the field of welding "Diamonds PTS" | Gdańsk University of Technology

Employee of the Bonding Engineering Department, MSc. Adrian Wolski, together with the co-author, MSc, Eng. Katarzyna Mielnicka received the first prize in the competition for the best engineering project and thesis in the field of welding "Diamenty PTS" organized by the Polish Welding Society. Adrian Wolski received the award (industrial internship funded by IPG Photonics Ltd. from Gliwice) on 13 December 2019 during the seminar "INNOVATION IN WELDING - TECHNOLOGIES, MATERIALS AND RECEPTION CONDITIONS" which took place in Katowice at the Faculty of Materials Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology.

The awarded master's thesis (Mechanics and Machine Design) is entitled: "Welding of the aluminium alloy underwater" and relates to the use of a local dry chamber (MIG process) for welding of naval aluminium alloys.
