Golden Engineer 2019 | Gdańsk University of Technology

One of this year's winners of the 26th edition of the plebiscite for the title of Golden Engineer of Przegląd Techniczny (Technical Review) was MSc Janusz Ochociński, a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering from 1981. Mr. Janusz Ochociński is currently the operational director at the international company Guala Closter DGS Poland in Włocławek. For 25 years, he has been supervising the production and improvement of technological processes and the development of machine construction for the production of steel caps for beverages, in a company that is one of the largest suppliers of this type of products in Europe. In the ceremonial final gala, on 27 February 2020 at the Warsaw House of Technology, Gdańsk University of Technology was represented by Professor Krzysztof Kaliński, PhD, DSc, Eng., deputy dean for science of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
