Krzysztof Żerdzicki, PhD Eng., was awarded by the Gdańsk Scientific Society and the President of the City of Gdańsk
Krzysztof Żerdzicki, PhD Eng. from the Department of Building Mechanics of our Faculty received an award from the Gdańsk Scientific Society and the President of the City of Gdańsk, which was awarded for the 45th time to young scientists for outstanding scientific achievements.
He was among the five awarded scientists from Pomerania. He was awarded in the field of technical sciences for a series of articles on identifying strength parameters of composite materials.
The winner of the GTN award and the President of the City of Gdańsk in 2015 received a doctoral degree in two scientific disciplines: construction at the Gdańsk University of Technology and mechanics at the University of Orleans in France. He is currently working as an adjunct professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environment in the Department of Construction Mechanics. He is a member of the Polish Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (PTMTiS) and European Society of Biomechanics (ESB). His main scientific interests revolve around experimental research in materials mechanics and biomechanics.
