Prof. Ludwik Referowski donated PLN 1 million to Gdańsk University of Technology for scholarships for gifted students.
Professor Ludwik Referowski's award is presented once a year in the amount of PLN 50,000 by the ‘Sapientes et Audentes Fortuna Iuvat Foundation’ (Latin: Fortune Supports the Wise and the Courageous), created by an honorary donor. Prof. Referowski. It has so far been awarded to Marek Kuciński, Łukasz Skarbek and Piotr Banach among others.
