Results of Actinium Supporting Most Talented Candidates competition

The funds granted under the seventh edition of the program constitute scholarships for particularly gifted students, based on their achievements at the previous educational stage, starting full-time second-cycle studies at Gdansk University of Technology from the summer semester of the 2023/2024 academic year.
Based on the ranking list of evaluated applications presented by the Evaluation Committee, the Rector of Gdansk University of Technology awarded 11 ACTINIUM scholarships to students who scored a minimum of 216.0 points;

Dear Candidates,

Today we closed the admission to the Doctoral School at Gdańsk University of Technology, conducted jointly with two institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Gdańsk - the Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery and the Institute of Hydro-Engineering.

Candidates who have sent an application form, please monitor the status of your application. We are in the process of verifying applications, and we will keep you informed of the next steps.

Additional funding

Regulations regarding the Doctoral School have been prepared in Polish and then translated into English for information purposes only. The Polish version will prevail whenever there is a divergent interpretation between these texts.

In this session, you will learn about the Reaxys Academic Edition (RAE), the leading database for Chemical Research & Development and Education. In the links, you will have a sneak peek of how Reaxys addresses the chemists’ needs at every step of their studies and career.

The session will consist of a 50 min live demo of Reaxys, followed by a 10 min Q&A. Please send us your questions or examples you wish to see demonstrated in Reaxys in advance, in order to make this session more useful and interesting for you.

Reaxys Academic Edition

Competition of the Swiss National Science Foundation

Applications can be submitted until June 30 for the MAPS (Multilateral Academic Projects) competition organized by the Swiss National Science Foundation. The MAPS initiative provides support for scientific projects involving researchers from Switzerland and partners from Poland, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary and Romania.

The competition is open to individuals who have held a doctoral degree for at least four years, and the project leader needs relevant skills to lead a research team.

Projects are scheduled to start in May 2025, and all projects must be completed by June 30, 2029.
