The ceremony took place on Wednesday, December 4, in the Main Hall of the University’s Main Building. The event was attended by Beata Rutkiewicz, Pomeranian Voivode, Prof. Krzysztof Wilde, Rector of Gdańsk Tech; as well as members of the rector’s board, faculty authorities, student council representatives, and invited guests.

With the end of the allocation, the call for the AMERICIUM International Career Development program has been closed. 

During a ceremonial meeting of the Senate of Gdańsk University of Technology, medals, decorations and awards were presented to employees of the university and people associated with our academic community.

On December 4, in the hall in front of the Main Library, an exhibition opening presenting the Achievements of the Gdańsk University of Technology took place to celebrate the university's 120th anniversary.

Dr. Anna Dąbrowska, Director of the PG Library, and Prof. Krzysztof Wilde, Rector of PG, opened the exhibition. Dr. Mikołaj Sikała, a renowned composer and pianist, provided the musical accompaniment.

The funding allocation for the AMERICIUM IDUB program has been fully utilized. As a result, applications are no longer being accepted as of December 4, 2024. Applications submitted before this date will still be processed.

The Pomeranian Education Council was established in 2014 and for many years operated as the only such council in Poland with a provincial scope.

Prof. Kazimierz Darowicki was awarded the St. Adalbert’s Medal. This is one of the most important distinctions for outstanding achievements awarded by the Gdańsk City Council. The presentation took place on 2 December, in the Artus Court, during a ceremonial session of the Council.

We would like to inform you that on November 25, 2024 Regulation of the Rector of Gdańsk University of Technology No. 48/2024 (in Polish only) on occupational risk assessment and risk assessment in education was issued.
