Electro-waste collection stations among the winning projects in the Gdańsk Tech Civic Budget

The academic community decided which projects will be implemented on the university's premises in 2024 as part of the Gdańsk Tech Civic Budget funds. One of the winning staff projects is the establishment of 3 outdoor collection stations for small electro-waste on the campus.

Small electro-waste: why is it important to recycle it?

Electro-waste, i.e. used electrical and electronic equipment, is an increasing part of the waste generated by humans. Do we realise how important it is to handle these small but potentially harmful items properly?

Publication achievements of researchers, record investments, strengthening the position in international rankings, an increase in the number of candidates for studies, cooperation within the Enhance consortium and the Fahrenheit Union of Universities – in 2023 Gdańsk University of Technology consistently continued the implementation of the "Development Strategy for 2020-2030".

The aim of the Program is to support the university's cooperation with secondary schools, mainly from outside the Tri-City, identifying the most talented graduates as future students of Gdansk University of Technology, especially in majors related to the research topics of the PRA Centers.

The 14th Seminar of Advanced Materials Center

14. Seminarium CMP

The fourteenth seminar of the Advanced Materials Center will be held on January 12th at 11:15 am in Auditorium 3/11 of Nano A (Building 4). PhD Maciej Jankowski, The European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF), Grenoble, France will give a lecture entitled "Characterization of materials using synchrotron X-ray radiation at the European Synchrotron - ESRF". After the seminar pizza will be served.
