Come and stay in the Gdańsk Tech dormitory during the holidays!
"Summer Action" has been held at Gdańsk University of Technology periodically for several years, enabling Gdańsk Tech students to live in university student dormitories during the summer break. This year is no different: as part of the "Summer 2021 Action", there are approximately 1,000 places available in six Gdańsk Tech dormitories (DS2, DS3, DS6, DS8, DS9, DS10).
According to the representatives of the GUT Students' Self-Government, who coordinate the action, the chance of getting a place is high.
– Last year, every interested person who correctly filled in and submitted the application was given the opportunity to live in the dormitory during the summer break between classes - emphasizes Justyna Jodłowska, Gdańsk Tech SSG deputy head for social affairs.
What to do to get a place in the Gdańsk Tech dorm as part of the "Summer 2021 Action"?
Acceptance of applications - only by electronic means - began on Monday 24 May and will end on Sunday 30 May. The application (attached as Annexe 8e-w to the Gdańsk Tech Student Benefits Regulations) should be printed and filled in, then scanned (or an exact photo taken) and sent before the deadline to the e-mail address of the Council of Residents of your dormitory, or to akcjalato@pg.edu.pl, provided for students not currently living in the Gdańsk Tech dormitory.
– The opportunity to take part in the "Summer 2021 Action" applies to every Gdańsk Tech student, and priority is given to summer student internships and graduate students preparing for their diploma defenses - explains Justyna Jodłowska from Gdańsk Tech SSG.

Schedule of "Summer 2021 Action":
- 24-30 May: Applying for a place for the summer
- 14 June: publication of results
- 28 June – 4 July: accommodation of students for the summe
- until 23 June: resignation from granted places
