Czerwona Róża (Red Rose) 2021 - the winners at the university stage were chosen

The best student and the best research club selected at the university stage of the Czerwona Róża (Red Rose) 2021 competition.  

On 15 June 2021, the university stage of the Czerwona Róża (Red Rose) 2021 Competition ended. The winners were selected in the categories: "best student" and "best research club" at Gdańsk University of Technology. They will represent the university during the main stage of the competition – 15 November 2021.

Three outstanding students, who obtained very high grades for learning during their studies, and who are active in various communities, participated in the competition: Bartłomiej Borzyszkowski and Krystian Kupper from FETI and Marta Marszewska from FAP&M. The competition was also attended by four research clubs, which can boast of outstanding achievements in the last 3 years: the Student Club of the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers of Gdańsk University of Technology from FE&CE, the Gradient research club from FETI, the Student Club of Automatic Control and Robotics SKAR from FETI, and the Research Club of Quality and Productivity from FM&E.

The competition committee, composed of vice-deans of all faculties of Gdańsk Tech, in the presence of the vice-rector for education, prof. Marek Dzida and the competition coordinator prof. Zygmunt Kurałowicz, after acknowledging the candidates' achievements and listening to the presentations, chose: Marta Marszewska from FAP&M and the Student Club of the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers at Gdańsk University of Technology from FE&CE.

In the next stage, which will be held at the University of Gdańsk, the best students and research clubs from public and private universities in the Pomeranian Voivodeship will compete for the Czerwona Róża (Red Rose) Laurel. The prize for the best student is a passenger car, and for the winning research club - a cash prize of PLN 12,000.

The gala ceremony during which the winners will be announced will take place on 21 November 2021 at the University of Gdańsk.
