Development of research and teaching infrastructure of the university. New admission in competitions

The modernization of the university's educational facilities for modern student education and the creation of a research infrastructure with an implemented system of efficient management, in which world-class research will be conducted, is the goal of two programs - Gdańsk Tech Core Edu Facilities and Gdańsk Tech Core Research Facilities. The admission process in both programs has just started.

Gdańsk Tech Core Edu Facilities

The program is an element of supporting the implementation of the tasks of the IDUB program from the university's own funds in the effective use of the existing and planned key research infrastructure. Its aim is to modernize the educational infrastructure of Gdańsk University of Technology for modern education of first and second cycle students, especially in priority research areas (PRA).

Addressees of the program

Applications for funding of laboratory infrastructure may be submitted by heads of organizational units

Budget and project financing conditions

The maximum project implementation period is 12 months.

The direct costs of the project may include:

1) costs of purchasing equipment for educational purposes;

2) costs of the necessary modernization and adaptation of rooms for teaching purposes

The maximum co-financing under the Program for direct project costs is 50%.

The costs of the necessary modernization and adaptation of premises may not exceed 50% of direct costs.

Application deadline

Admission in the program will last from 12.07.2021 to 15.09.2021.

Funds in the program are awarded in a competition mode. The competition is announced by the Vice-Rector for Organization and Development,

Applications should be submitted electronically to the IDUB Project Implementation Team to the address: granty@pg.edu.pl, the original of the application should be sent by internal mail to the Projects Office.

Gdańsk Tech Core Research Facilities

The program is an element of supporting the implementation of the tasks of the IDUB program from the University's own funds in terms of the effective use of the key research infrastructure. The aim of the Program is to create research infrastructure, especially in priority research areas (PRA), with an efficient management system implemented, in which scientific and application research at the highest world level will be carried out.

Budget and project financing conditions

The maximum project implementation period is 18 months.

The direct costs of the project may include:

1) costs of purchasing the equipment to obtain the functional completeness of the research infrastructure;

2) costs of necessary modernization and adaptation of premises.

The maximum co-financing of direct costs of the project is 50% of the costs listed, while the costs necessary for the modernization and adaptation of rooms cannot exceed 50% of the total funding.

Priority in allocating funds is given to the infrastructures identified as critical under the Silicium Supporting Core R&D Research Facilities program.

Admission in the program will last from 12.07.2021 to 15.09.2021.
