Study visit of representatives of the Czech Technical University in Prague

Once again, guests from the Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU) visited Gdańsk Tech in order to exchange experiences and good practices regarding the management of project, finance and human capital as well as the implementation of the HR4R Strategy at universities.

A series of meetings with Gdańsk Tech employees from various administration offices were held. The university participants were from: Quality Management Office, Projects Office, Public Procurement Office, International Relations Office, Personnel Department, Office of Open Gdańsk Tech, IT Services Center and Office of Integrated Development Program of Gdańsk Tech.

They discussed the challenges related to the university operation, the HR Excellence in Research award, project and financial management, tender realization, IT and social support for employees, foreign exchange and activities undertaken for the benefit of local community.

Jitka Svobodová and Jaroslava Merunková, from the Institute of Experimental and Applied Physics of the Czech Technical University in Prague, visited Gdańsk Tech for 5 days. Their arrival was possible due to funding from a project supporting international mobility, from the Czech Operational Programme Research, Development and Education.

The visit of CTU representatives was their second study visit at Gdańsk Tech, during which our Univeristy acted as an expert partner and Quality Management Office as a host.
