Gdańsk Tech scientists awarded by the Gdańsk Scientific Society and by the mayor of Gdańsk
Authors who are under 35 years of age and whose independent scientific or team works have been completed or published by the end of 2021 could apply for the award. Such fields as social sciences and humanities, biological and medical sciences, mathematical-physical-chemical sciences, technical sciences and earth sciences were assessed.
Damian Głowienka PhD, Eng. (FAPM) received an award in the field of mathematical-physical-chemical sciences for his scientific activity in 2021 presented in three scientific articles on the study of phenomena occurring in solar cells based on perovskite materials.
In the field of technical sciences, Michał Bartmański PhD, Eng. (FMEST) was awarded for the series of publications entitled Composite Coatings for Titanium Implants with High and Long-lasting Antibacterial Effectiveness Against Hospital Bacteria.
