Scholarship of the Minister of Education and Science for a Gdańsk Tech student
Michał Laskowski studies at the inter-faculty data science field of studies and already has his first research successes.
– The international scientific publication and work on damping modeling in WBAN networks contributed to the award in the form of a scholarship from the Minister of Education and Science. I had the great pleasure to be a member of the Polish-Portuguese team consisting of prof. Luis Correia, prof. Sławomir Ambroziak and PhD Krzysztof Świder, whom I would like to thank very much for the cooperation and support so far in my first scientific publications - emphasized Michał Laskowski. – The scholarship of the Minister of Education and Science is a great honor for me. I hope that the funds received will allow me to further develop in the broadly understood field of Data Science, as well as to finance further projects related to my professional career – he adds.
The award in the form of a scholarship was awarded to the best students representing 46 scientific and artistic disciplines. The minimum point threshold for receiving a scholarship was different in each of the disciplines.
MES scholarship in the amount of 17 thousand. PLN will be paid to each selected student once, within 14 days from the date of the announcement of the results (April 1).
