The first family room at Gdańsk Tech is awaiting children and their parents
In the family room, you can not only change or feed a baby, but also play with an older toddler or just relax.
The room is located on the second floor in building no. 61 - Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Automatics at 7 Sobieskiego Street in Gdańsk. Access to the room is provided by a driveway to the building and an elevator. There are also toilets in close proximity to the family room.
Due to the decor of the room, the room was named "forest room". The room itself is comfortably and cozily furnished. The space has been divided into zones: for feeding, playing and relaxing. The room has a changing table, a microwave, a kettle, a comfortable armchair, a sofa, a children's table with chairs and toys, and a fold-out mattress.
Whole families are welcome.The room is available during the opening hours of the building.
Family-friendly university
The family room is not the only convenience for parents introduced by Gdańsk University of Technology. At the beginning of September (on the ground floor of the building of Dormitory No. 13), the Gdańsk Tech Megamocni Kindergarten, which was created for the children of the employees, doctoral students and students of Gdańsk University of Technology, will start operating. There will be 4 playgroups in the facility, up to 25 children each.
