Free legal advice for foreigners

We invite international employees, PhD students, and students to take advantage of free legal consultations organized as part of a project funded by the NAWA "Welcome to Poland" program.

We offer support in the following areas:

  • legalization of stay in Poland,

  • employment of family members,

  • access to the education system,

  • access to the healthcare system,

  • renting/purchasing an apartment,

  • tax issues,

We invite all students and staff of Gdańsk University of Technology to the 4th edition of the Puzzle Enthusiasts’ Meeting at the Gdańsk Tech Library in the Main Building Reading Room.
The event will take place on Friday, December 5 from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

This is an excellent opportunity to relax and meet other puzzle lovers. We want the library to be not only a place for studying but also a space for socializing and creative relaxation.

The Käte Hamburger Kolleg: Cultures of Research - Call for Fellowship Applications 2026/2027

The Käte Hamburger Kolleg: Cultures of Research (c:o/re) at RWTH Aachen University invites applications for its 2026/2027 fellowship program. Fellowships (6–12 months), starting in October 2026, are open to scholars from the humanities, social sciences, STS, and the natural, life, and technical sciences.

The thematic focus for 2026/27 is “Varieties of Science.” We welcome proposals comparing national research cultures, developing methodological approaches for analyzing them, or exploring specific varieties of science in selected countries.

Fellows receive full funding, office space, logistical support, and access to RWTH Aachen’s interdisciplinary research environment. Residency in Aachen is required.

5th call for applications within the PROM project

International Relations Office informs that, following a recalculation of the funds used within the project, it has been possible to allocate resources for the fifth call for participants interested in the PROM Programme.

Available funding includes:
– 3 staff mobilities (without the possibility of covering conference fees),
– 10 incoming mobilities for international doctoral candidates.

Call schedule:
– 27 November – 2 December 2025 – application period,
– 3 December 2025 – announcement of results.

The Käte Hamburger Kolleg: Cultures of Research (c:o/re) in Aachen has announced a call for prestigious research fellowships for postdoctoral and senior scholars.

The program begins in October 2026, and the application deadline is December 31, 2025.

Gdańsk Tech among the most popular universities chosen by prospective students

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has summarised the results of enrolment for the 2025/2026 academic year. The Gdańsk University of Technology ranked fourth, right next to the largest universities in Poland.

In this year's ranking of public universities most frequently chosen by candidates (according to the total number of applications for full-time first-cycle and uniform master's degree programmes), the Gdańsk University of Technology, with 33,162 applications, ranked fourth after the University of Warsaw (48,749 candidates), the Jagiellonian University (36,808) and the Warsaw University of Technology (33,363), with only 201 more people applying to the last of the mentioned universities than t
