Invitation to Participate in a Study on the Experiences of Women Engineers

A research team from RWTH Aachen University invites women to participate in a qualitative online study exploring the experiences of women in engineering. The aim of the project is to better understand how women engineers experience their professional and academic environments.

The study is open to women who are currently working as engineers, studying engineering, or who have left the field during their studies or professional careers. The survey consists of three theory-based questions and one open-ended question. Participants can complete it at their own pace, pausing and returning to it whenever they wish. As the study takes a European perspective, all responses should be provided in English.

Erasmus+ Mobility Opportunities for Gdańsk University of Technology Students

In the 2025/2026 academic year, Gdańsk University of Technology  students will have the opportunity to undertake study or traineeship mobility under the Erasmus+ programme in partner countries not associated with the programme.

Which countries are eligible?

All countries worldwide are eligible, except for the EU Member States, the EEA countries, Türkiye, and North Macedonia, as mobility to these destinations has already been available under Erasmus+.

Gdańsk Tech ranks among the highest-rated Polish universities in the THE Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026

The Gdańsk University of Technology has once again been highly rated in an international ranking of universities committed to delivering the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In the Times Higher Education Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026, Gdańsk Tech was ranked in the 401–600 range globally and joint second in Poland.

The Times Higher Education Sustainability Impact Ratings, formerly known as the THE Impact Rankings, assess universities on their impact on delivering the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Factors taken into account include, among others, activities in research, education, engagement with the socio-economic environment, university governance and the implementation of measures supporting sustainable development.

Seven young science enthusiasts awarded scholarships by Gdańsk Tech

students
Seven high school graduates from various parts of Poland have won the latest edition of the Gdańsk Tech Talent Scholarship competition. Young people from Pomerania, Podlasie, Silesia and Western Pomerania – who, although still at secondary school, have already demonstrated significant scientific, competitive, project-based and social achievements – will be joining the ranks of students at the Gdańsk University of Technology.

The Gdańsk University of Technology has once again awarded the Talent Scholarships, which are aimed at young, talented individuals who stand out for their passion for learning, high academic performance and involvement in activities beyond the standard school curriculum.

Summer Korean Language and Culture Program in South Korea – Invitation for Students

Students interested in the Korean language and culture have a unique opportunity to participate in a two-week summer program organized by Changwon National University (CWNU) in South Korea.

The Summer Korean Language and Culture Immersion Program will take place from August 3 to 14, 2026, and is designed for students with no prior knowledge of Korean.

III MOSAIC Project Meeting – NAWA EURAXESS

III NOSAIC Project Meeting – NAWA EURAXESS Network took place on the campus of Gdańsk University of Technology. Representatives of other universities and regional institutions also participated in the meeting.

During the meeting, dr Bartosz Wiśniewski presented a summary of the current stage of the project and led a discussion on the tasks and challenges that still lie ahead.

After the meeting, the participants visited our Welcome Office, where they were introduced to the office's activities and gained insight into its day-to-day operations and functioning.

The "NAWA EURAXESS Network" project is funded by the European Union under the European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027 (FERS) programme, Agreement Nr BPI/EUR/2024/00010/U/00001.

As the project is going to finish this summer, it will be the last opportunity to have an appointment with the lawyer.

Gdańsk Tech once again among the world’s top universities in QS World University Rankings

Gdańsk University of Technology has maintained its position in the 801–850 band in the latest edition of the QS World University Rankings 2027, retaining the same rank for the third year in a row. In this year’s edition, the university was ranked 6th in Poland among the 20 Polish universities included in the ranking, and 3rd among Polish technical universities.

QS World University Rankings is one of the world’s most prestigious and most frequently cited rankings of higher education institutions. In the 2027 edition, 8,808 universities from 106 countries were analysed, with the top 1,504 institutions ultimately included in the ranking.
