Success of the ENHANCE GREAT Staff Week at Gdańsk University of Technology

Between 6–8 May 2026, Gdańsk University of Technology hosted nearly 100 staff members from universities belonging to the ENHANCE alliance. The three-day GREAT Programme Staff Week, serving as the culmination of a series of online meetings, became an opportunity for in-person exchange of experience among academic teachers and administrative staff alike. The event provided an excellent showcase for our university, reaffirming its strong position on the international stage.

Over three intensive days, we connected with representatives of leading European universities: Warsaw University of Technology, TU Berlin, TU Delft, ETH Zurich, PoliMi, NTNU, RWTH Aachen, and UPV

From 13 May to 14 June, we invite you to test Scopus AI - a tool that uses generative artificial intelligence to support literature searching, research topic analysis, and discovering new research directions.

Scopus AI combines the resources of Scopus with AI features such as automatic summaries, follow-up questions, a concept map, identification of topic experts, and emerging research trends.

Call for applications for the Disponium Empowering Doctoral Students through Research Mini-Grants Program

Disponium

The program is aimed at doctoral students at the Doctoral School of Gdańsk University of Technology (first through fourth year of study) and is designed to support their research activities as part of their doctoral dissertation.

Under the program, participants may receive funding of up to 12,000 PLN to cover research costs, including the purchase of equipment, materials, services, and software.

Application deadline: June 1, 2026 – June 15, 2026.

The DAAD scholarship programme “Future Network Weimar Triangle: Science for Europe”

The DAAD scholarship programme “Future Network Weimar Triangle: Science for Europe” opens new opportunities for young researchers from Poland, France, and Germany. The initiative is addressed to doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers from all academic disciplines who conduct research on key contemporary European challenges — from artificial intelligence and energy transformation to security, biotechnology, and the social impact of new technologies.

Participants in the programme will have the opportunity to carry out a research stay at a selected research institution in Germany and to join an international working group supporting the exchange of experience and the development of joint research projects. The programme aims to strengthen long-term scientific cooperation within the Weimar Triangle and to foster solutions to European and global challenges.
