The main goal of the ProDok 2024 Doctoral Community Competition was to ensure fair, collegial, and development-oriented competition. The event also served as an opportunity to review community initiatives and recognize activities that inspire future efforts.

Doctoral students are undeniable leaders within the Academic Community, as evidenced by the nearly 100 submissions received for the competition! In response to feedback from the community, this year’s competition was decided through voting by doctoral councils.

Startup projects developed at the Gdańsk University of Technology implement the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Currently there are 4 startup projects which implement Goal 7: Affordable and clean energy:

We kicked off with a brainstorming session to outline the vision, priorities, and action plan for the Team's activities. Our commitment is to support the professional development of young scientists at Gdańsk University of Technology, while working to minimize and eliminate barriers that hinder their work and limit their growth at Gdańsk Tech.

The Congress was organized by the universities within the Academic Consortium – Katowice City of Science, with the National Center for Research and Development as the event’s substantive partner. During the event, Martyna Kozłowska-Żukowska, the project manager of "Universities of the Future," introduced the project funded by European Funds within the European Social Development Funds Program (FERS) and participated in a discussion about the possibilities for systemic personalization in education.

 The TITANIUM program is an element of the tasks of the IDUB program in the scope of increasing the transfer of knowledge and technology.

For whom?

An application for funding may be submitted by an employee, doctoral student or student of the Gdansk University of Technology.

Co-financing may be granted only for activities concerning inventions to which the University will be entitled - in whole or in part - to property rights, and the University is not subject to restrictions on the commercial use of the invention.

The Gdańsk Tech Library and the Institute of Applied Mathematics (Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics), invite everyone, especially first-year students, to join an exciting field game titled "Gdańsk University of Technology and the Lost Elven Scrolls" ("Politechnika Gdańska i zaginione zwoje elfów"). The game is only in Polish.

Inspired by themes from the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, the game has already started and will run until December 14 this year.
