New program to support publishing and patenting activities under CBTM

The aim of the program is to support Gdańsk Tech employees in disseminating research results through the publication of scientific articles and patent applications, in line with the thematic scope of the BioTechMed Center.

The program allocation is PLN 200,000 from the BioTechMed Center budget and is intended to partially cover publication and patent application costs, in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in these regulations.

Take part in the EUROSTUDENT IX survey!

The next edition of Europe’s largest survey on student life – EUROSTUDENT IX – is underway! We encourage students of Gdańsk University of Technology to take part in the Polish edition of this international project, aimed at analyzing the socio-economic conditions of studying and comparing them with the situation of students in nearly 30 European countries.

The survey is cyclical, which makes it possible to capture changing trends and provides valuable knowledge for those responsible for shaping public policy in the field of higher education — both in Poland and at the European level.

EUROSTUDENT IX is carried out using an advanced, multi-stage methodology developed by an international team of researchers led by experts from Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands. Poland is participating in the project for the sixth time, providing valuable comparative data.

Substantive evaluation of applications in the Am, Es and Eu programs during the vacation period

due to the vacation period, we would like to inform you that applications submitted to the Americium, Einsteinium and Europium programs between 01.07 - 31.08 will not be evaluated. Applications during the aforementioned period may be submitted, however, their evaluation will resume after September 1 this year.

Intensive Training Programme for ENHANCE Communication Officers: Building a Common ENHANCE Identity

As part of Task no. 9 of the project "Enhancing the Potential of Gdańsk Tech within the ENHANCE Alliance" , Gdańsk University of Technology is hosting an intensive training programme for ENHANCE Alliance Communication Officers. The training focuses on key areas of professional responsibility and includes five core modules:

🔹 social media and digital marketing
🔹 intercultural communication
🔹 content creation and storytelling

Gdańsk University of Technology coordinates EIT-funded DIGIMPACT.EU project

The project “Digital transformation for university-born innovation and entrepreneurship” (DIGIMPACT.EU), coordinated by the Gdańsk University of Technology’s Department of Informatics in Management was awarded funding by the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT). The grant award is 1,340,000 EUR and the project is planned to last 25 months.

EIT is an integral part of the third pillar of Horizon Europe, i.e. Innovative Europe. With 3 billion EUR budget, EIT works to strengthen sustainable innovation ecosystems across Europe, support EU universities in integrating more entrepreneurial education, bring new solutions to global societal challenges to the market, etc.

Wellbeing Webinar initiated by ENHANCE+

ENHANCE Office invites you to a wellbeing webinar – “Footpaths, Freeways & Forest Trails: Many Roads to Wellbeing”. The event will take place on June 11 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

The webinar will be an opportunity to explore the topic of wellbeing. Its aim is to encourage reflection on how to consciously build wellbeing both individually and institutionally.
