The Actinium Supporting Most Talented Candidates program is an element of the implementation of the tasks of the IDUB program in the field of improving the quality of education for students and doctoral students, in particular in the fields and disciplines related to priority research areas (PRA) of the university.

Call for applications in the second edition of the Radon Supporting Most Talented Students program (15.10-15.11.2021)

The Radon Supporting Most Talented Students program is an element of the tasks of the IDUB program in the field of improving the quality of student education, in particular in the fields and disciplines related to the priority research areas (PRA) of the university.

The call for proposals will run from 15.10. - 15.11.2021

Budget and project implementation conditions

The scholarship in the RADON program amounts to PLN 1 000 per month and is granted for a period not longer than 12 months.

Applications for a scholarship may be submitted by full-time students:

  • of BSc studies after completing the first year of studies,
  • of MSc studies,

who achieve outstanding results in their studies and take part in research carried out at the university.

Distribution of places in DS - 7.10.2021 r.

The results of the distribution of places in DS as of today have been published on the student accounts.

Persons who have received a place must check in by Sunday 10/10/2021.

We received 284 applications and we had about 150 places.
It was not possible for all students to get a place today. Most of you would like to live in DS 5 or DS 9 and preferably in a single room. It cannot be done.

The Fahrenheit Union of Universities will cooperate with PKM

Daniel Fahrenheit Union of Universities in Gdańsk, established by the Medical University of Gdańsk, Gdańsk University of Technology and the University of Gdańsk, started cooperation with the Pomeranian Metropolitan Railway (PKM - Pomorska Kolej Metropolitalna SA) on a new project - PKM South. An agreement in this matter was signed on 5 October this year by the representatives of the parties: chairman of the Union's Assembly, Gdańsk Tech rector prof. Krzysztof Wilde and the president of PKM SA Grzegorz Mocarski. The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, Leszek Bonna.

The agreement concerns the cooperation of the Fahrenheit Union of Universities (FarU) with PKM SA in the field of developing analyzes, expert opinions and reports for the implementation of the project entitled "Pomeranian Metropolitan Railway Stage II: Development of transport infrastructure in the southern part of the Gdańsk-Gdynia-Sopot Metropolitan Area, in connection with the regional railway network of the Pomeranian Voivodeship" (in short: PKM South) and projects constituting a continuation of this undertaking.
