New Library Regulations
From 1 September 2025, two new Rector’s Regulations for the Gdańsk Tech Library came into force:
Citizen Science
Citizen Science is considered an integral part of Open Science, is scientific research in which volunteers cooperate with professional researchers, and also a form of scientific education, cooperation in scientific research and the social movement. Citizen Science is the voluntary participation of non-scientists in a research project at each of its stages: data collection, data analysis, method selection and data processing, and drawing conclusions.
The Gdańsk Tech Library for WOŚP
Gdańsk Tech Library invites you to take part in unique WOŚP charity auctions, combining support for a noble cause with the promotion of science and academic heritage.
Become a Patron of Knowledge
Do you dream of becoming a part of the history of science? Now you have a unique opportunity! We invite you to take part in a special WOŚP charity auction. Thanks to this auction, you can become the Patron of one of the newly purchased scientific books at the Gdańsk Tech Library.
Free legal advice for foreigners
We invite international employees, PhD students, and students to take advantage of free legal consultations organized as part of a project funded by the NAWA "Welcome to Poland" program.

All Fits Together! Puzzle & Board Game Enthusiasts’ Meeting at the Library
We invite all students and staff of Gdańsk University of Technology to the first puzzle lovers’ meeting of the new year at the Gdańsk Tech Library. The event will take place on Friday, 16 January, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Gdańsk Tech Library in the Faculty of Architecture Branch Library (Main Building, floor 4, room 407).
This time, you will also be able to play board games, so we warmly invite all board game fans as well!
Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) 2026 - join innovative international learning projects with leading European universities!
We invite students to apply for two unique Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) developed in collaboration with top European partner universities. The programmes combine online teaching with intensive on-site workshops and offer the opportunity to receive mobility scholarships.

Extended opening hours of the Main Library
Dear Students! Due to the upcoming exam session, the Main Library will be open from 12 to 31 January 2026, from Monday to Saturday until 9:00 p.m.
We make available our spaces in the student space 100/5, acoustic booths, the main hall, and the Reading Room, so you can find a suitable place to prepare for exams, both for individual study and group work.

The Careers and Alumni Office invites you to a workshop „Come and try a mock interview with us” for engineering students, led by Wojciech Chrzanowski - Founder of HRBusters Consulting, Keo Account Manager, Engineering Management student of Gdańsk University of Technology.
