DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION WORKSHOP

For who? Students and doctoral candidates from all faculties who are interested in the topics of IDE (inclusion, diversity, equity)
The workshop will be conducted by: Paulina Chobot (Gdańsk Tech Students’ Union, Plenipotentiary for Internationalization and Equality) and Justyna Sudakowska (Gdańsk Tech International Relations Office).
About the workshop
During the workshop, we will work on ideas for actions related to IDE (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity) that we can take at Gdańsk Tech. Take a look at the list of topics below—maybe you already have some ideas to promote IDE-related values at our university :
· Raising awareness about inclusion and diversity
· Fostering allyship and support for minorities
· Enhancing the inclusivity of existing university activities
· Hosting workshops, campaigns, and events
· Promoting gender equality and combatting gender-based violence
· Encouraging study abroad for students facing barriers
· Art and creative projects to highlight equality, diversity, and inclusion
· Facilitating dialogues on inclusion and diversity
· Promoting multilingualism and intercultural skills
Here's some good news! You will have the opportunity to receive funding for your ideas! Our university is part of the ENHANCE Alliance of technical universities. Soon, ENHANCE will announce a call for the Diversity Seed Fund—a program supporting grassroots student initiatives. This means that you will be able to submit applications for the ideas developed during the workshop, and who knows—you might be able to turn your ideas into actions!
