Staff Week on PhD Mobility at RWTH Aachen University – Call for Participation

University staff involved in international cooperation, Erasmus+ programmes, and doctoral mobility are invited to participate in an international Staff Week hosted by RWTH Aachen University in Germany. Organised as an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), the event will focus on key aspects of PhD mobility and international collaboration.

The programme combines a short virtual component with an on-site week in Aachen from 30 November to 4 December 2026. It is designed for administrative staff working in International Offices, Erasmus+ coordination, and other areas supporting doctoral candidates and mobility initiatives.

Academic Fahrenheit Bridges: Discover Polish Universities from the Inside. Recruitment Now Open!

Do you have Polish roots, live abroad, and wonder what studying in Poland is really like? Or perhaps you would simply like to see firsthand how Polish universities operate, meet your peers, and spend a week in one of the most beautiful regions of the country? We have something for you.

We invite you to join the “Academic Fahrenheit Bridges – Study Visits” project. This fully funded program gives young people of Polish descent from around the world the opportunity to visit Poland and experience academic life, culture, and public institutions up close.

The study visit will take place from 15–23 September 2026 in the Tri-City area (Gdańsk, Gdynia, Sopot) and Warsaw.

A National Youth Strategy is being developed

Are you 19–29 years old? This is your chance to speak up about what young people in Poland really need. Housing? Mental health? Jobs? Education? Personal development? Now you can genuinely influence the decisions that will be made on these issues.

A National Youth Strategy is being developed — a document that will set the direction of government policies and actions for young people in the years ahead. That’s why the Ministry of National Education is collecting opinions from young people across Poland.

Holiday Book 2026

The Gdańsk Tech Library invites you to borrow scientific books, popular science books, and fiction for the whole summer holiday. We also invite you to take part in our photo contest: "Holiday Book. Show us how your book is spending the summer!".

The contest starts on 8 June and ends on 7 October 2026. It is open to all members of the academic community.
