Summer School at Gdańsk Tech - apply now (deadline: 12 June)

The Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics of Gdańsk Tech invites international students to the summer school on Multiscale Methods, organized within the ScienceApp project.

All Participants will receive a diploma certifying acquired skills and learning outcomes, and ECTS credits collected during the training that may be recognized by the home institution.

The winner with his prize
Marcin Wekwejt, PhD, Eng., from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology became the laureate of the 20th edition of the Jan Uphagen City of Gdańsk Award for Young Scientists in the category of natural and exact sciences. He received the award for "significant scientific achievements in the field of biomaterials engineering, in particular for the development of innovative functional bone cements for therapeutic applications."

Marcin Wekwejt is a graduate of engineering studies in biomedical engineering (Jan and Jędrzej Śniadecki University of Technology in Bydgoszcz and L. Rydygier Collegium Medicum), master's studies in mechanical and medical engineering (Gdańsk University of Technology and Medical University of Gdańsk) and doctoral studies in the discipline of materials engineering (Gdańsk Tech).

The 2nd edition of Fahrenheit Scholarships has just started!

On the birthday of the famous scientist of Gdańsk, enrolment for the second edition of the Mayor of Gdańsk's Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit Scholarship Programme for international PhD students is starting!

Anna, Maria and Stabak are doing their internships at the Fahrenheit Universities and sharing their experiences so far as part of that programme. See the movie!

Four Gdańsk Tech researchers among 100 outstanding young scientists

Mikolaj Nowak, PhD, Eng., Katarzyna Drozdowska, MSc. Eng. , Sabina Szymczak MSc. Eng., and Krzysztof Wołoszyk , PhD, Eng., have been awarded in the START scholarship program of the Foundation for Polish Science. FPS scholarship holders conduct research in the field of electrical engineering, electronics, economics and mechanics.

Scholarships are awarded to outstanding young scientists at the beginning of their scientific career, who have documented achievements in their field of research.
