Yuxin Lu - third graduate to complete the Doctoral School of Gdańsk University of Technology in the new doctoral education system, scientifically affiliated with the Faculty of Management and Economics began his training in the a.y. 2019/2020, under the supervision of prof. Joanna Wolszczak-Derlacz from the Department of Economics.

As every year, the ceremony will begin with an inaugural speech delivered by prof. Krzysztof Wilde, Gdańsk Tech rector.
The next part will be the matriculation of students. 16 students will take the oath - two representatives from each of the eight faculties who obtained the best results during the recruitment process. At the end, there will be a speech delivered by Agnieszka Skotnicka, president of the Gdańsk Tech Student Government.
At the beginning of each academic semester, the International Relations Office of Gdańsk Tech organizes two events for newly admitted international students, including Welcome Meeting, to which newly admitted doctoral students are also invited.
