Recruitment results. Economics and mechatronics are the most popular fields of study

Economics, mechatronics and spatial development - these are the most popular fields of study at Gdańsk University of Technology in recruitment for the 2020/2021 academic year. There were over 15 applicants for one place in these fields of study. The greatest number of candidates was recorded in IT and civil engineering. Over 25.8 thousand people applied for a place in full-time and part-time studies, 4385 people were admitted.

The recruitment results were published on the candidates' recruitment accounts.

A total of 23 770 candidates (including 23 002 for first-cycle studies) applied for a place in full-time studies, 3 721 people were admitted (including 3 495 for first-cycle studies).

The largest number of applications per place was recorded in the field of economics at the Faculty of Management and Economics (16.9 people per place), mechatronics at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (15.8 people per place) and spatial development at the Faculty of Architecture (15.1 people per place).

The largest number of applications in total was recorded in the fields of: IT at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics (1701 applications), civil engineering at the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering (1312), automation, cybernetics and robotics at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics (1180) and automation, robotics and control systems at the Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering (1075).

A total of 2038 people applied for part-time 1st and 2nd cycle studies, 664 people were admitted.

Possible supplementary recruitment will take place in September. In the near future, a message will be published on the website pg.edu.pl/rekrutacja whether and in which courses additional admission procedure will take place.
