More candidates than last year, even a dozen people per place | Gdańsk University of Technology

Gdańsk University of Technology is one of the most frequently chosen technical universities in the country. This is confirmed by the admission results for the academic year 2021/2022. There were even more applications for full-time first-cycle studies than last year, as many as 23,127 (22,999 applications were registered during last year's recruitment), and 1,261 people applied for a place in part-time studies.

The largest number of applications per place was recorded in the fields of: economics at the Faculty of Management and Economics (18.53 people per place); spatial management at the Faculty of Architecture (17.34 people); economic analysis at the FME (15 people); automatics, cybernetics and robotics at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics (12.01 people) and design and construction of yachts at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology (11.09 people).

In turn, the largest number of candidates in total was recorded in the fields of: IT at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics (1,812 people) and civil engineering at the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering (1,347 people).
