Gdańsk Tech is the first technical university with two ACEEU accreditations | Gdańsk University of Technology

In this way, Gdansk University of Technology has become the first university in Poland and the first technical university in the world to have ACEEU accreditation in both the area of engagement and entrepreneurship! Work on obtaining both accreditations had been ongoing since October 2021. We received the first one – ACEEU Engaged University Accreditation – in June 2023. Work continued for another year to meet the ACEEU standards in the area of entrepreneurship, which was challenging for a technical university.

– I am very pleased and thank everyone for their effort put into working to receive ACEEU accreditation. The awareness that we are a leader among technical universities also in the area of entrepreneurship and engagement is encouraging and gives energy for further action – said Prof. Dariusz Mikielewicz, Vice-Rector for Science.

We congratulate all employees who contributed to obtaining both accreditations and we look forward to the official presentation of the title.

Obtaining ACEEU accreditation in both entrepreneurship and engagement was coordinated by the Strategic Analysis Center.

ACEEU (Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities) is an international organization founded in 2016, specialising in acknowledging and fostering entrepreneurial and engaged potential of universities on institutional and divisional levels.
