The HR Center in cooperation with the Young Researchers Office invite employees and PhD students of Gdańsk Tech to the meeting "Let's talk about the brand of a researcher – is it worth it to devote time, attention and (perhaps) money?”.
The meeting will take place on 26 March from 13:00 to 15:00 (Main Building, room 205).
The 9th edition of the Competition for the Award of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Gdańsk for young scientists is underway. until March 31 this year.
The award is granted equally to five winners in five fields of science (according to the Faculties of the Polish Academy of Sciences) for an original research achievement that was published in 2023.
Due to the high interest in Erasmus+ mobility trips, Gdańsk University of Technology managed to obtain an additional EUR 50,000 in the competition organized by the National Erasmus+ Agency. The funds will be available for academic teachers and administrative staff for mobilities to program countries (action KA131).

The Language Center invites employees of the Gdańsk University of Technology, especially those who give lectures in English, young researchers, as well as employees of the administration to take advantage of the free of charge program - Language Emergency.
On April 4th, 2024 at 2:15 pm in Auditorium 3/11 Center of Nanotechnology A (Building 4) will take place the lecture "Potencjał redox okiem mikrobiologa. Transfer aktywności przeciwdrobnoustrojowej do materiałów dedykowanych technologii druku 3D" ["Redox potential from the perspective of a microbiologist. Transfer of antimicrobial activity to materials dedicated to 3D printing technology"] of PhD Eng. Szymon Mania, adjunct at the Faculty of Chemistry, Gdańsk University of Technology.
His thesis, entitled "Development of novel optoelectronic sensory structures using color centers in nanodiamonds and their interactions with analytes", was prepared under the supervision of prof. Robert Bogdanowicz at the Department of Metrology and Optoelectronics at FETI. The auxiliary promoter was Mateusz Ficek, PhD, Eng.
