Meeting with Dezhou University
On April 3rd, 2024 prof. Dariusz Mikielewicz, the Vice-Rector for Organization and Development of Gdańsk University of Technology, and Mr. Liu Yinfang, the Vice President of Dezhou University (China), convened an online meeting.

The meeting between Dezhou University and Gdańsk University of Technology, spanning a decade-long relationship, served as a pivotal moment for both institutions. Amidst discussions, the progress of the Chinese Ministry of Education 4+0 program in Power Engineering Technologies emerged as a central focus, with participants reviewing its achievements, challenges, and future directions.

Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering Branch Library

The collection of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering Branch Library has been merged with the Main Library collection. Books can be requested through the online catalog. Books previously borrowed from the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering Branch Library should be returned in the Hall using the self-service device (self-check) or the drop box located on the left side of the Main Library entrance, which also allows returns outside the library’s opening hours.

Call for applications for Individual Research Studies and under the RADIUM program

Individual Research Studies (IRS or ISB - in polish) create individual educational paths for the most talented second-level students in connection with their research as part of research projects. 

Within the RADIUM Program, it is possible to obtain a university grant intended to finance the costs of scientific research conducted by second degree students within Individual Research Studies.

The Doctoral Students’ Self-government Council of the Gdańsk University of Technology, in consultation with the university's bodies, has planned several events intended for PhD students of the Doctoral School, the Industrial Doctoral School and candidates for doctoral studies.

At the end of April, our doctoral student self-governors (something for young PhD students who want to contribute for our university) will participate in II Ogólnopolska Konferencja Krajowej Reprezentacji Doktorantów, where PhD students will share their new findings and exchange experiences about the doctoral self-governance of their universities.
