"Hey, are you OK?" project

Hey, are you ok?
Consultations with a psychologist, workshops on mediation and cultural differences, and even yoga and mindfulness classes - the project "Hey, are you OK?" addressed to students and employees of Gdańsk University of Technology starts in September.   

More and more universities in Poland, Europe and all over the world offer their students and employees support in the field of wellbeing. The constant presence of a psychologist at the university, events such as a mental health week, workshops and lectures on caring for mental and physical health are important elements of the activities of many universities.

Therefore, Gdańsk University of Technology has launched the project "Hey, are you OK?".

Presidency handed over at the Fahrenheit Universities Assembly

The beginning of September is also a new chapter for the Fahrenheit Universities. During the Assembly of the Union, which took place on 2 September this year, rector of Gdańsk University of Technology prof. Krzysztof Wilde handed over the presidency of the Fahrenheit Universities to prof. Marcin Gruchała, the rector of the Medical University of Gdańsk.  

The meeting was also attended by: prof. Piotr Stepnowski, rector of the University of Gdańsk, chairmen of university councils: Paweł Orłowski (MUG), Sławomir Halbryt (Gdańsk Tech) and prof. UW Maciej Duszczyk (University of Gdańsk), director of the Fahrenheit Universities prof. Adriana Zaleska-Medynska, as well as prof. Michał Markuszewski (MUG) and prof. Dariusz Mikielewicz (Gdańsk Tech).

Fahrenheit Universities will celebrate the start of a new academic year

Long live since
On 1st October, in the heart of Gdańsk, with the sound of carillons playing "Gaudeamus Igitur", several local universities will celebrate the start of a new 2022/2023 academic year. This is a special event in the country, emphasising the role of the academic community in the life of the city.

The science-focused festivities initiated by the Fahrenheit Universities will be attended by the FarU Universities’ representatives along with the several other Gdańsk higher education institutions and local authorities. Dariusz Drelich, Voiviode of the Pomeranian Voivodeship and The City Mayor, Aleksandra Dulkiewicz and Wiesław, will be present as well.
