In the U.S. News Best Global Universities 2021 ranking Gdańsk Tech recorded a decline in the general classification compared to previous years. U.S. News is a ranking to which university does not provide any data directly. Figures regarding employees and students are provided by the Clarivate Analytics database.
In the ranking organized by Times Higher Education THE WUR 2021, Gdańsk University of Technology recorded a decline in the general classification and was assigned to the group of places in the 1001+ range. This decline is related to the greater number of universities participating in the ranking.
In the QS WUR 2022 ranking, Gdańsk University of Technology maintained its position and for the third time it was classified in the range 801-1000.
In the overview prepared by the Ministry of Education and Science in 2020, Gdańsk Tech was once again announced the second most frequently chosen university in Poland by candidates for studies. Our University obtained a high result (6.5 candidate for one place) and was only overtaken by Poznan University of Technology (6.6 candidate for one place).
In the 22nd edition of the Perspektywy Ranking published in June 2021, Gdańsk Tech recorded an increase by two positions in the classification, taking the highest place in the ranking's history so far, which proves the dynamic development and continuous strengthening of the University's position compared to other Polish universities.
In the ARWU 2021 ranking (year of publication: 2021), Gdańsk University of Technology was included in the global ranking for the second time, in the position 801-900 (there were 2 more Polish universities ranked in this position), among 10 universities from Poland classified in the ranking. In the GRAS 2021 ranking published in 2021, Gdańsk University of Technology recorded
a decline compared to last year. Gdańsk Tech was classified only in the discipline of Electrical & Electronic Engineering taking place in the range of 401-500.
The basic form of conducting classes will be stationary, but lectures in large groups should be held remotely - in this case, the decisions will be made by the deans of the faculties.
Deans will define the list of classes that will be carried out in a remote or mixed (hybrid) manner on an ongoing basis, and information on this subject is to be posted on the faculty websites.
