The Webometrics Ranking of World Universities is conducted by the Supreme Council for Scientific Research in Madrid (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cientificas). Webometrics is a ranking that primarily takes into account the presence and recognition of universities in the network, although it is not a ranking of university websites.

The QS EECA ranking (Emerging Europe and Central Asia University Ranking) assesses universities from Eastern Europe and Central Asia in terms of publications, citations, internationalization and academic staff.

In the U.S. News Best Global Universities Subject Rankings 2021 published in 2020, Gdańsk University of Technology was classified in 2 disciplines: Chemistry - 549th place and Engineering - 467th place.

In 2020, Gdańsk Tech was classified in THE World University Rankings by Subject in 3 fields of science: Physical Sciences, Computer Science and Engineering & Technology, occupying the same place, i.e. in the range of 601-800. The subject ranking is based on the same indicators as THE World University Ranking, although the methodology is adapted to each area separately.

In the QS WUR by Subject 2021 ranking, Gdańsk University of Technology was classified in the ranking for 2 individual disciplines, i.e. Chemistry: position 451-500 and Engineering - Electrical & Electronic: position 401-450. Unfortunately, we were not qualified for the overall field ranking.
